The newly revamped Chase Sapphire Reserve now comes with a $795 annual fee—yeah, that’s steep. But it also comes packed with new benefits that might make the cost worth it, depending on how you use it.

You’ll now earn more points when booking through Chase Travel, and if you prefer to book flights and hotels directly, you’ll still get 4x points on those purchases. Dining continues to earn 3x points worldwide, and it’s 1x on everything else.

Chase Ultimate Rewards points are still super flexible. With the Reserve, you can redeem points for up to 2 cents per point through Chase Travel on select redemptions, or transfer them to 11 airline and 3 hotel partners.

There’s a long list of new perks and benefits too (I’ve listed some of the highlights below). And honestly, if you can use even half of them, you might be able to offset a good chunk—or even all—of that annual fee.

But again, $795 is no joke. Don’t get it just because it’s new and shiny—make sure the perks actually fit your lifestyle and spending habits.
