If you're on T-Mobile and you fly Delta in economy, you're about to get a complimentary beer, wine, or cocktail on every eligible flight as a permanent, year-round benefit.
One thing up front: as of today, June 8, the perk isn't live yet, and there's no linking your Delta and T-Mobile accounts. T-Mobile has it set to launch the week of June 16, 2026, alongside a "Magenta Sky Lounge" event in New York headlined by T-Pain.
That's almost certainly when the account-linking feature switches on in the T-Life app. So read this now, get your accounts ready, and pull the trigger the day it goes live.
Who Qualifies and How to Claim It
Here's what we know so far. Some of the finer details should firm up once the feature goes live around June 16.
The one that's going to trip people up is the 24-hour window. Link your accounts at the gate, and it won't work for that flight. The day the feature turns on, get it done so you're covered before your next trip. One thing you can do right now: make sure your SkyMiles number is saved to your Delta profile and reflected in your bookings, so it's one less step later.
Bottom Line
I'm not switching carriers for a glass of wine, and you shouldn't either. But if you're already on T-Mobile and you fly Delta this is an easy benefit to take advantage of.
The feature should switch on the week of June 16, so set a reminder to open the T-Life app and link your SkyMiles account as soon as it does.
